The Rocks Washington Oaks State Park - Engagement Session

If you're looking for a beach engagement session location that includes the beach and is a little off the beaten path, The Rocks at Washington Oaks State Park is a perfect spot. This park is located near Palm Coast, Florida, about an hour and a half east of Orlando. The ancient rock formation makes for some great photo opportunities, as does the beach sand and perfect weather. I had the privilege of photographing this lovely couple at sunset, and the results were stunning. Can't wait to capture their wedding later this summer!

The pair decided on a neutral palette to complement the sand and beachy tones. For beach engagement photos, casual wear is best. Men can wear cargo shorts and a nice clean shirt. The ladies can be a bit more stylish. I always recommended a dress with a long train so it catches the wind. A beachy updo or even beachy waves with a boho dress would be perfect! Plus the rocks at Washington Oaks State Park add just the right amount of drama for an engagement session.
